Smoke, gas and dust extraction systems
Digital control system
Innovative control, monitoring, and display system for PUREX extraction systems.
All functions are fully automatic, the only setting that needs to be made during installation is the size of the suction flow.
Monitoring and safety features not only ensure compliance with international workplace safety legislation, but also offer cost savings in the production process.
Particles, dust, vapours, burn-off during the laser process and flux acids during soldering work endanger the health of personnel and impair product quality and production processes.
Dust generated during laser processing can lead to impaired functionality or even damage to expensive laser optics, as well as weakening of the laser beam, resulting in blurry or incomplete markings.
Properties
- Protection of personnel through constant monitoring of exhaust emissions for particulate and gas content
- Fully automatic control system regulates compliance with a constant suction flow through variable motor speed
- Clear status display of current parameters on the graphic display
- Problem-free identification of warnings and faults. Display for the Digital control system
All filters are taken back by JOERNS GmbH after use and disposed of properly (special waste). Proof of disposal will be provided for your environmental management.
Filter status indicator
- Continuous monitoring of the particulate filters for saturation
- Particle filter fill level display
- Adjustable warning alarm threshold
- Help with reducing downtime
- Note on requesting replacement filters in good time
Gas sensor
- Continuous monitoring of the purified air for gas leakage
- Display of activated carbon filter fill level
- Adjustable warning alarm threshold
- Help with reducing downtime
- Note on requesting replacement filters in good time
- Sensor can be switched off
Particulate matter sensor
- Continuous monitoring of purified air for particle content, e.g. due to leaks, missing, damaged or incorrectly installed filters
- Adjustable warning alarm threshold
- Help with reducing downtime
- Note on requesting replacement filters in good time
- Sensor can be switched off
Temperature sensor
- Continuous monitoring of process air temperature
- Adjustable warning alarm threshold
- Sensor can be switched off
Speed check
- The extraction rate can be adjusted to the specific requirement
- The motor speed is automatically adjusted to the setpoint, ensuring that the extraction rate remains constant until the filters are completely saturated. This means that the motor does not run continuously at full power, but always at the optimum speed
- Advantages: Quiet operation, lower energy consumption, longer filter life
Flow control Vacuum / Volume flow
Vacuum control
- The flow monitoring automatically increases the motor speed with increasing filter saturation. With vacuum control, the actually required airflow is monitored.
- This means that if the required suction flow is reduced, the pump output will be regulated down and thus adjusted to the setpoint.
- This ensures constant extraction results and guarantees that vapours and/or dust are effectively captured throughout the filters' entire lifespan.
Volume flow control
- The flow monitoring automatically increases the motor speed with increasing filter saturation and with a reduction in the cross-section of the suction line, e.g. due to combustion residue deposits in laser applications.
- This means that if the required suction flow is reduced, the pump capacity is increased and thus adapted to the set target value.
- This ensures constant extraction results and guarantees that vapours and/or dust are effectively captured throughout the filters' entire lifespan.
Interface
- Interfaces enable communication with laser controls, reflow ovens, etc.
- Automatic activation/deactivation of the extraction system when the laser/oven is activated/deactivated
- Automatic suction run-on for an adjustable period ensures that full suction power is available when the process starts
- Automatic post-run suction time for an adjustable period after the end of the process ensures that all accumulated materials are conveyed to the filters
- A fault signal is sent to the connected system when a fault occurs in the extraction system, and can therefore be used to interrupt the process.
