Smoke, gas and dust extraction systems
1. exhaust air purification
Particles, dust, vapours, burn-off during the laser process and flux acids during soldering work endanger the health of personnel and impair product quality and production processes.
Extraction is also advantageous for protecting devices with optical components. The precipitation of flux acid vapours and dust on prisms, lenses or light sources significantly reduces the quality of work and production results.
This loss of quality occurs gradually and is rarely noticed by the operating personnel, although the error rate can constantly increase as a result.
PUREX extraction systems have a very high extraction and filtration efficiency. The system control constantly adjusts the pump performance to the set extraction volume depending on the degree of filter saturation. This means that the pump does not run at a fixed speed (the suction capacity decreases over time), but at optimum performance until the filters are fully saturated.
The extraction systems work according to the recirculation principle. Contaminated air is extracted, filtered through a multi-stage process and the purified air is returned to the room. This saves heating energy and expensive conversion work.
2. filtration principle
The suction direction in the device is from bottom to top (not FumeCube), the 90° reverse flow causes heavy particles to fall downwards from the air flow and deposits on the main filter are prevented.
The standard main filters are equipped with HEPA filters and treated activated carbon, e.g. to neutralise flux acid vapours.
Patented labyrinthTM- Bellows bag pre-filters offer a high particle holding capacity. Patented inline filters offer optimum utilisation and therefore a long service life for the bag filters.
The system and filter configuration can be customised to the needs and requirements of the respective application.
After use, the main and pre-filters are taken back by JOERNS GmbH (hazardous waste) and sent to a disposal company for proper disposal.
Proof of disposal will be issued for your environmental management.
